The Farmaesthetics Pop Up You Need To Visit

This past July, local sustainable skincare brand, Farmaesthetics, opened a pop-up at Sweet Berry Farm in Middletown, Rhode Island. If you are not familiar with Sweet Berry Farm it's a must visit. It's a great spot in the summertime for fresh produce, local grocery items, sandwiches and pick-your-own berries, and in the fall for apples and pumpkins. Plus, it's right by some of Rhode Island's best beaches.

I had the pleasure of visiting the pop up back in July when it first opened and met Farmaesthetics founder, Brenda Brock, and her lovely daughter, Lela Barclay de Tolly. I was in awe when I saw this pop up and fell in love with the brand's story and skincare line even more.

After Brock decided to close her flagship location on Newport's Bellevue Avenue, she spent some time thinking about her next move and look for places she would want to be. Always, wanting to work with Sweet Berry Farm in some capacity, it clicked with Lela to partner with them after she saw an old tool shed on site. It took Lela three months to transform the worn shed into a bright adorable shop filled with open shelves of Farmaesthetics luxurious sustainable products.

Customers can spend time on the farm, then head into the pop up to find a new herbal cleanser, rejuvenating body oil or a lavender milk candle (this just launched and smells divine).

Some of my absolute favorites from the natural crop-based product line: Nutrient Dense Fine Facial Oil ($58), so good this time of year when my skin feels parched from the sun and all the summer fun; Watercress Eye Gel ($38) love this silky gel texture containing caffeine to help minimize dark circles; Nourishing Lavender Milk ($45), smells amazing and is super-hydrating; and Cool Aloe Mist ($30), so refreshing and perfect before and after makeup application and spritzing throughout the day.

The pop up is open Thursday through Saturday, 10am-5pm till October 30, 2022. Sweet Berry Farm x Farmaesthetics, 915 Mitchell's Lane, Middletown, RI
