The Clean Beauty Products I Can’t Get Enough Of Right Now

Spring is almost here and I can't wait! I'm looking forward to warmer days, the flowers and trees blooming and spending more time outdoors with friends and family. This seasonal shift is often the time of year when I start to think about new makeup and skincare. I love changing up my products and springtime is great to add in a new clean moisturizer, mascara or glowy face balm.

Clean beauty is something that I try and use more often (I definitely use a mix). And, I love how a slew of brands are making beauty and skincare better and safer all the time. A bunch of clean brands such as ILIA, GOOPGenes and Jones Road have popped up on my radar and they work wonders on the skin, face and lips to get spring ready. I'm enjoying them so much that I wanted to share them with you all.

Here are some of my current favorites that I'll be using all season long:

FOR THE LIPS

I like to wear a little color on my lips even when I'm working from home. I tend to gravitate towards neutral pink or coral hues that are wearable during the day, but will also work at night. ILIA Balmy Gloss Tinted Lip Oil is a gloss/balm hybrid containing hyaluronic acid and moisturizing botanicals that feels amazing on lips. I have the color Tahiti, a soft coral pinky hue, and it leaves a pretty wash of color and just the right amount of sheen. I also think this gloss looks great layered on top of a more matte lip product or with this lip liner.

I am never without a good moisturizing lip product and with the weather cold one day and warm the next, my lips are more chapped than ever. ILIA Lip Wrap Hydrating Mask is my absolute new favorite lip product to keep lips moisturized and looking good. I even use it on my boys and they love it! This hydrating balm stays on my nightstand to moisturize and plump at night, but I also use it on my lips as a quick moisture boost before applying makeup. It has papaya enzymes to gently exfoliate and mango butter and hyaluronic to lock in moisture always leaving lips soft and supple.

Another clean lip product that I have fallen for is the GOOPGENES Clean Nourishing Balm, which is super-moisturizing and loaded with good for you ingredients such as argan, coconut, shea butter and jojoba. I love the chic packaging and reach for this in my handbag multiple times a day.

FOR THE EYES

Even though, I spend most of my days at home, I feel more complete with a few coats of mascara. The JONES ROAD MASCARA, created by celebrity makeup artist Bobbi Brown, is a cruelty-free deep black formula with a fluffy curved brush that helps lift and separate lashes. It contains nourishing vitamins E and B and you can do multiple coats that give you a dramatic look that isn't overdone. I love how full my lashes look after a few coats.

Back in the early days of quarantine, I saw a makeup tutorial by actress Mandy Moore featuring an eyeshadow palette by Beautycounter that looked amazing. A friend of mine sells Beautycounter so I decided to buy the Classic Palette and have to say that I love it. The colors blend seamlessly and it's user-friendly to create natural pretty looks even if you are not big on eye shadow.

FOR THE FACE

A new favorite moisturizer I have been using for both day and night is the GOOPGENES All-in-One Nourishing Face Cream. It feels great under makeup, has this lovely whipped texture and contains plant-based ceramides, squalene and seven highly active botanicals to keep skin hydrated for up to 48 hours. This dew-inducing face cream works for all skin types and is not too heavy for warmer weather.

Jones Road Miracle Balm in Bronze and Dusty Rose is my new multi-purpose beauty product for that no makeup makeup look. This dewy balm, which comes in four subtle shades, is part of Bobbi Brown's new clean beauty line and they are my second favorite to the brands clean mascara. I love to apply this balm after base and concealer (some days just concealer). The Dusty Rose looks so pretty on cheeks and adds a nice to sheen to the lips and the bronze hue I apply where the sun would hit the skin. You can also apply both shades to eyelids and really anywhere you want for some natural color.
