Your Guide to Oahu, Hawaii

This past summer, we took a family trip to Oahu and Kauai before my hubby started a new job. I’ve been to Oahu once before, but only for a few days, and was excited to return and really explore the island.  I knew what to expect of Honolulu and touristy Waikiki, but my hubby was a little disappointed that it was so built up and congested, so we made sure to rent a car to go out and explore Oahu.   We visited the North Shore, famous for it’s surfing (Pipeline and Waimea Bay) and laid-back vibe, and the southeast and eastern side of the island (Kailau, where the Obama’s stay, Kahala and Kaneohe).  It was absolutely beautiful and the drive through the different towns and sites surpassed my expectactions.  Here are some of my favorite moments from Oahu.
