Holiday Gift Guide — Under $500

So, I have not done much holiday shopping at all. Have you? I bought something that my 11 year old wanted on Amazon yesterday because it was the last one available and I got some gifts for holiday parties that I attended, but I really need to get moving on the shopping.  I am better under pressure, so hoping I have time this weekend and next week to get the people on my list as well as for the kids and the hubs.

For this Gift Guide, I went with items all under $500. I feel you can get a really aweome gift or gifts for under $500.  I try and keep items at a certain price when I’m buying gifts, but sometimes it’s nice to spend a little more on a piece of jewelry, a bag or a gorgeous pair of shoes. I did not include the guys or kiddos in this one, but you can find some ideas in the Under $100 for both.

Beauty

Rodan + Fields Active Hydration Serum My best friend gave me a full size bottle of this serum to try, which has done wonders on my dry skin.  I love to use it both morning and at night and works great under makeup, too.  Oribe Gold Lust Collection. I’m addicted to Oribe’s shampoos and conditioners, but they are total splurge items and I can’t buy them all the time.  They all smell ah-mazing and they always make my color and hair look great.  This box is a sampling of the Gold Lust Collection, which includes a travel sized hair oil, full- size shampoo and full-size conditioner and is a great gift for someone who uses frequent heat styling tools and colors their hair. Vinters Daughter Active Botanical Serum. I featured one of my favorite face oils in the under $100 gift guide that I use almost daily, but I am also dying to try this pricier one that gets rave reviews and contains a slew of 22 rich botanical oils to help repair, reduce inflammation and balance the skin.  My favorite fragance is Byredo Mojave Ghost and I always get wonderful compliments on how good it smells when I wear it, but lately I’ve been into Le Labo’s Santal 33 Eau de Parfum, which has been around for a while now and works on both men and women.  It has such an interesting smell with a blend of florals, leather and sandalwood.  You have to try it to get the feel, but it is pretty special and would make such a nice holiday gift. ZIIP Beauty Nanocurrent Device I’ve noticed skin sagging on my face lately and would love an at-home device like this one by ZIIP Beauty that mimics the electrocurrent devices used by top facialists to help with lifting and firmness that sometimes a cream can’t do alone.

Fashion and Accessories

The Teddy Coat trend is still going strong and I love a longer, oversized one in a camel hue just like this one by Stand. It looks so warm and cozy and I can see it work for both day and night. Tote Bag. My affordable canvas Madewell tote has been awesome for the past few years, but I need something a little more polished for work and good for running around with the kiddos.  I love this basket weave tote by Naghedi St. Barths that looks way more expensive and will work now through the warmer months. Eberjey Pajama Set I don’t spend a ton of money on sleepwear, but I’ve had my eye on a nice pair of soft pajamas from Eberjey that would make any mom or homebody happy. Vince Alder Snakeskin Booties. I splurged on these booties during a Cyber Monday sale and so happy I did. They have the perfect size heel and the neutral snakeskin print goes with everything from sweaters and jeans to fancier blouses and faux leather pants. Haverhill Birthstone Bracelet 14K Gold. I just did a fun holiday giveaway with Haverhill on this solitare Birthstone Bracelet (it was on social media so hope you follow along) and I love mine in my birthstone peridot. It makes such a great gift for anyone and I wear mine everyday layered or on its own. Oscar de la Renta Emb Heart Earring. I am not one to spend a lot of money on chandelier earrings, but I saw these in person the other day and they were really pretty.  They would be great for special evenings out.

For The Home

Fferone Albany Vase Medium. I love to get fresh flowers from the grocery store or a floral shop and I could use a pretty new vase to display them in. Love the design on this one and how it would make a classy statement with my neutral furnishings. Le Creuset 5.5 Quart Signature Dutch Oven. I jumped on the whole instapot bandwagon and bought one last year and ended up returning it because it was enormous (it was the 8-quart). Ever since, I put them in my cart and never press purchase.  But, one thing I use all the time and consistently is my Dutch Oven and I’ve had it for years. It’s classic and not gimmicky and works well for everything and is something you will have forever. VITRUVI Essential Oil Diffuser. I’m intrigued by essential oils and these diffusers that look chic and dispense aromatherapy safely in the home. I think it could be great and relaxing especially since I have been working from home a lot more. Jonathan Adler Small Jacques Tray has been jumping at me lately. It’s simple, but also beautiful and stylish and will be one of those forever home pieces. I would use it to display beauty products, candles or barware.

Let me know what you guys think of this gift guide and Happy Holiday shopping!  xx Jackie
